Meanwhile, Governance and Development Advocates Zambia GODAZA has called for peace during elections. GODAZA Executive Director, Elias Mulenga, has commended the Electoral Commission of Zambia for the manner in which it has conducted the electoral process so far.

Mr. Mulenga said he was pleased with the transparency observed in the printing of ballot papers in Dubai, where his organization had sent representatives to monitor the process.

He called on all stakeholders to avoid speculation and the spread of false information.

The Movement has announced plans to conduct sensitizations in markets, schools and bus stations, engage youth and women, roll out a Peace Pledge campaign, and work with the media to counter fake news.

The group emphasized that Zambians are not defined by party colors, but by national identity. It urged the public to vote peacefully and to safeguard the will of the people.
