Chasefu Delimitation Should Not Divide Communities - Chipeta

Independent parliamentary candidate for Chasefu North, Captain Towani Chipeta, has urged residents not to allow the delimitation of Chasefu District into two constituencies to divide the community. Speaking in Lusuntha area of Chaboli Ward in Chasefu South while campaigning for independent parliamentary candidate Gerald Zimba and council chairperson candidate Rabson Mumba, Captain Chipeta said the people of Chasefu remain one community despite the new constituency boundaries.

Captain Chipeta said she is seeking to work with like-minded independent leaders to improve service delivery across the district. She cited the sinking of 31 boreholes in all wards as part of her commitment to improving access to clean water, adding that development should benefit all residents regardless of constituency boundaries.

She further described delimitation as an administrative process that should not weaken unity among the people of Chasefu. Captain Chipeta said supporting independent candidates who share a common vision for development will help accelerate progress and ensure equitable service delivery throughout the district.
