Copper Queens Step Up Preparations in Rabat Ahead of WAFCON Quarterfinal Clash in Malawi

The Zambia Women’s National Team, the Copper Queens, held a training session on Monday night at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, Morocco.

The session was part of final preparations for their CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2026 Group C quarterfinal match against Malawi.

Head Coach Nora Häuptle oversaw the team during an intense training workout aimed at fine-tuning tactics and sharpening match fitness ahead of the crucial encounter. The technical bench used the session to assess player readiness and make final adjustments before the knockout game.

Zambia will face Malawi on Tuesday, 5th August 2026, at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. Kickoff is scheduled for 22:00hrs CAT.
