The first-ever FIFA Club World Cup ended with a Chelsea rout over Paris Saint-Germain, 3-0. Chelsea scored all three goals quickly in the first half.

Cole Palmer scored the first two goals within the first 30 minutes of the game. In the 43rd minute, Palmer passed to João Pedro, who knocked in the Blues’ third goal. Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez came up big with multiple saves, denying PSG.

The second half became a half of fouls out of frustration. The PSG’s João Neves was sent off for pulling Chelsea player Marc Cucurella’s hair. Ultimately, tempers flared to the point of fisticuffs at the final whistle. PSG goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma began pushing on Chelsea players, which started the brawl. PSG coach Luis Enrique appeared to shove his hand into Pedro’s face. Eventually, the field was cleared in preparation of the trophy presentation.
